d&briefing 2024 - Live XR Broadcast with Unreal Engine

Delighted to have collaborated once again with MALFMEDIA LIMITED on this year’s d&briefing for d&b audiotechnik! It was an incredible experience working with such a talented team, bringing this immersive broadcast technology to life at ITEC’s XR stage in London.

For this project, I was responsible for the creation of the 3D environment and the design of the bumpers connecting the different sections of the show, ensuring a seamless visual experience. For this I collaborated with freelance 3D artist Stijn Bergen who helped me design, animate and blueprint the interactive world.

Everything was built within a single Unreal Engine file, maintaining consistency and reinforcing the visual coherence of the 3D world throughout the broadcast. Seeing it all come together in a live multicam setting was truly rewarding!
