LolaLiza - Hybrid virtual fashion show - Summer Collection 2024

Together with LolaLiza, GraphxStudio delivered an innovative fashion runway experience, being (one of) the first ever hybrid fashion shows in Europe where physical and digital models came together to showcase the new summer collection of the brand.

A 6mx3m LED, closing the runway and extending it into virtual worlds, opened the opportunity for the physical models to walk behind the screen, and their virtual 3D versions to take over, complete with the same outfit to secure a near seamless transition from real world to digital world. As LolaLiza truly is a brand that’s focusing on the connection with their customers, a fully digital runway would not have kept the same human-connection and the interaction of virtual and real-life during this fashion show is what made it truly special.

The whole 25-minute show was prerendered in Unreal Engine, using Metahumans, Marvelous Designer workflows for the 3D clothing and Rokoko motion capture for the Metahumans’ movements.
